Repositioning Careers in Electrical Contracting
The goal of this project is to improve the quality and quantity of entry level applicants by repositioning careers in electrical contracting. By definition, this effort is considerably different from the present methods of recruiting entry level employees, with the priority on recruitment of apprentices by JATC training directors. The project proposes a broader focus on the full range of career paths available in the industry known as electrical contracting. The approach also would move the image of electrical contracting away from the general category of the construction trades and promote the idea of career paths in electrical contracting leading from point of entry to potential executive management.
