ELECTRI International elected to assess the state-of-the-practice on emerging opportunities for the electrical
industry related to the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA). This report provides the electrical contracting
community with an overview of the IIJA Act and areas closely related to their businesses, a survey, and structured
interviews of electrical contractors (ECs). The purpose of this work is to understand ECs’ perceptions of the IIJA, as
well as to identify emerging business opportunities and threats to the industry.
