The Finger Lakes New York Chapter of NECA recently increased its investment in ELECTRI International to the Governor ($150,000) level.  Chapter Governor John Amicucci (Oneida Electrical Contractors, Inc., Utica) explains the Chapter's decision: "Our thirty members are proud of the work we do here in Upstate New York and we want to give back to our organized industry. We know how valuable ELECTRI programs are, especially the research that the Foundation provides for all of our companies. ELECTRI benefits us all."

Electrical contracting work for Finger Lakes members continues to grow. Chapter Executive Marilyn Oppedisano tells ELECTRI, "Our work has been steady, with no decrease in hours. We attribute that fact to the excellent labor relations we have in both of our jurisdictions."

When notifying ELECTRI of the increased gift, Amicucci added, "Our members understand the concept of giving. Our companies are well known here in New York for our efforts to be true partners in a number of philanthropic activities. Working with ELECTRI International is a logical extension of our commitment to community."
