RESOURCES
The ELECTRI Council Room session on the upcoming Rework research was held this month. Researcher Hala Nassereddine led the discussion focusing on key components of her upcoming research: Essential Rework Reduction Framework to Protect Profits. Joined by taskforce member Dan Shea of Shea Electric, they outlined how rework threatens contractors’ profitability, morale, and reputation. This research will include tools to identify, measure, and control rework. The research is expected to be released in April. If you would like to review the tools early and share feedback with Hala, reach out to her at hala.m.nassereddine@gmail.com.
This month’s IT & Coffee session focused on tech stacks. Thank you to Matt Lamb of Rosendin for leading this discussion.

UPDATES
Commitment Upgrades
Special thanks to the Oregon-Columbia Chapter for increasing their commitment to ELECTRI to the $500,000 level! Thank you for your generous support of the foundation. We are grateful that you continue to see the value in ELECTRI.

Introducing ELECTRI Chapter Goals!
The Why: ELECTRI’s funding has primarily been through investments of $100,000 or more from our ELECTRI Council. Now that the Council has grown to nearly 300 members, we are shifting our focus to small-dollar donations to broaden our network of support without losing the culture of the foundation.
The Goal: Keep ELECTRI’s resources top of mind for NECA contractors. Our hope is at your NECA Chapter meetings, ELECTRI will be one of the agenda items to discuss new research or promote initiatives, and an update on progress toward your ELECTRI chapter goal.
The Structure:
- Chapter goal amount equal to $250/member
- 50% participation (half of the membership to make a donation of any amount)
- Only non-Council member donations count towards the Chapter goal. The goal of this program is to garner support in low-dollar amounts from contractors outside of the ELECTRI Council. The role of Council members will be to encourage others in your chapter to support the foundation through small-dollar donations that will go towards the chapter goal.
- Donations can be corporate or personal and are considered a charitable contribution to a 501(c)3.
How to Donate: Donations can be made online, or checks can be made out to ELECTRI International and mailed to our office at:
ELECTRI International
1201 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, 12th Floor
Washington, DC 20004
The Reward: Chapters who reach their ELECTRI Chapter goal by the end of the year will receive a plaque to showcase their support of the foundation in their offices and it will also list the names of the ELECTRI Council members in their chapter. Those chapters will also be recognized at our meetings and events throughout the year.
