During ELECTRI’s recent Cross Border Meeting in Belize, participants heard first-hand what electrical contractors had to do – or “make do” to survive.
One attendee, Greenlee’s Director of Contractor Development Joel B. Smith, knew his company could help make things better. He arranged to contribute a cable puller for contractors in San Pedro, Belize to use in their work. This will be the first cable puller on the island and will be shared among electrical contractors to increase efficiency and profitability for all.
Richard McBride, Chairman of Southern Contracting Company, is arranging to have the cable puller delivered to Belize. He recently noted, “Many thanks to Greenlee for this generous donation. We can all take pride as members of ELECTRI International for being the vehicle through which we can share our expertise and offer financial support to those underdeveloped countries.”
Joel Smith’s simple response: “It was the right thing to do.”
