WASHINGTON, D.C. – ELECTRI International and Powering America are proud to announce the launch of the “Electrical Construction Career Map,” an innovative tool designed to enhance career development and workforce awareness within the electrical contracting (EC) industry.

The interactive career map serves as a dynamic workforce development tool, offering invaluable guidance and insight into various career pathways within the field and office settings of the electrical construction industry. Key features of the career map include customizable career paths for over 70 electrical construction roles with live updates to reflect new jobs and training programs.

This initiative aims to increase awareness of career opportunities, intern and apprenticeship programs, recruiting efforts, and career placement services in the EC industry. The map is intended to support a wide range of users, including high school and college students, adults seeking new opportunities, industry professionals looking to advance, educators, school counselors, parents, and third-party recruiters.

The career map is poised to significantly impact the EC industry by providing a clear and comprehensive overview of career opportunities. The objective is to inspire ambition, facilitate goal setting, and ultimately increase the number of individuals entering and thriving in the construction industry.
